Has it already been a week?

An incredible festival of intensity, fun and world-class tennis has come to a close with world No. 1 Novak Djokovic earning his fourth Rogers Cup presented by National Bank title.

Well done, Novak!

Because it’s hard to say goodbye, let’s look back at 16 amazing things that happened this past week in Toronto.

1. It seems like Djokovic is winning all of the things all of the time, but he did manage to find a first here in Toronto!

2. Earlier in the week, Milos Raonic took on Sir Richard Branson in an epic battle of… gamesmanship. ?

3. Who could forget when Nole and Radek joined the orchestra?

Radek played an incredible point, then busted out the virtual violin.

Novak, responded of course – with a crazy winner of his own, AND the symphonic flair.

And we got a lovely bit of UGC! ?

4. Sometimes, it’s just not your day. Sorry, Stan! ?

5. Our dedicated volunteers and crew made this an incredible week, with one woman’s story serving as inspiration for all.

6. We also had a temporarily new line judge. Bye, bye birdie!

7. Denis Shapovalov’s hometown debut lived up to the billing.

8. The annual fireworks created a perfect atmosphere on the eve of Final Sunday.

9. Cirque du Soleil’s Luzia performers even made players take a second look!

10. Classic Nole, making some ball kids’ dreams come true. ?

11. Actually, the full spectrum of post-win celebrations are truly something to behold. Dance like there’s no tomorrow, guys.

It took the Mini Rogers Cup champions to show these guys how it’s done!

12. The quotables were on point. This is an excellent personal motto. ?

13. Pokemon Go found a home on our courts.

14. Epic hashtags were born.

15. Toronto athletes were loving the tennis.

Let’s also not forget Nole’s near-goal…

16. And from our sister city in Montreal, Simona Halep capturing her first Rogers Cup crown delivered some serious feels! ?

We’ll see you next year, Halepeño! ?
