Learn From the Pros on Rexall Wellness Day

As part of its commitment to health and wellness, the Rexall family of pharmacies will host Rexall Wellness Day during Wednesday’s action at the Rogers Cup presented by American Express.

Highlighting the day is a question and answer presentation with a star from the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour, who will provide insider tips on exactly what it takes to compete in one of the world’s fiercest tennis tournaments, including proper nutrition, training before a tournament, weight training, and more.

On the courts, second and third round action will continue as players look to move one step closer to the championship, while off the courts, nurses and doctors will also operate a number of free health clinics around the grounds.  These clinics will give fans the opportunity to learn many important tips about a variety of different health concerns, including blood pressure, Body Mass Index (BMI) readings, skincare and sun awareness, bone density testing, foot care, and cholesterol.
