Some intriguing names will contend for a place in the Rogers Cup presented by National Bank main draw during qualifying weekend from August 8-9, 2015 in Montreal.

Leading the way is world no. 46 Steve Johnson of the United States. The American reached the third round at Roland-Garros this spring and he is a former NCAA standout. Also on the list of entries is former world no. 13 Alexandr Dolgopolov of Ukraine. Winner of two career ATP singles titles, Dolgopolov is coming back from injury. Former world no. 14 and Paris Masters finalist Jerzy Janowicz of Poland will also be in Montreal.

Meanwhile, fast rising Aussie Thanasi Kokkinakis will try and join fellow young guns Borna Coric, Nick Kyrgios, Dominic Thiem, and Jack Sock in the main draw during opening weekend at Uniprix Stadium.

Several Canadians will be awarded qualifying and main draw wildcards in the coming days.
