Following Friday night’s quarter-final match-up of Novak Djokovic versus Tomas Berdych at Rogers Cup presented by National Bank, fans had the chance to catch one of four specially marked tennis balls for the Emirates Ball Flight contest.

Guests were invited down to join the Emirates Cabin Crew to compete for the day’s grand prize – a trip for two on the A380 from Toronto to Dubai and a three-night stay at Dubai’s most popular family resort, Fairmont The Palm.

Pierre was the lucky winner who will be packing his bags after winning the competition on Centre Court. He left Rogers Cup one step closer to packing his bags and experiencing the beauty of Dubai.

The Ball Flight contest was part of Emirates Day, an annual celebration at Rogers Cup. In addition to the Centre Court festivities, fans entering the grounds were also given Emirates hats to help protect them from the sun.

In an incredible coincidence, this is the second straight year a “Pierre” has been the grand prize winner. For a refresher, enjoy last year’s moment – the happiest man in the world, Pierre from Brampton.
