407 ETR Free Community Weekend just got that much sweeter! The Rogers Cup presented by National Bank qualifying competition gets underway on Saturday, August 4th, with an incredible lineup of players that you won’t want to miss.

#NextGenATP Americans Frances Tiafoe and Taylor Fritz will also be in qualifying action, both of whom have made waves at the tour-level this season, with Tiafoe winning his maiden ATP World Tour title in Delray Beach earlier this season and Fritz notching impressive results this spring before pushing then-World No. 4 Alexander Zverev to five sets at Wimbledon. Jared Donaldson, who reached the third round in Toronto in 2016 before losing to home-favourite Milos Raonic, will also be in action, as will Mackenzie McDonald who just recently played Raonic tight in the fourth round of Wimbledon this year.

The Rogers Cup qualifying draw isn’t lacking in flamboyance, either. Artful players Alexandr Dolgopolov and Benoit Paire are sure to be crowd pleasers with their wide array of talents and their penchant for sizzling hot shots. Serve-and-volley experts Mischa Zverev and former World No. 12 Feliciano Lopez will also bring character to the 407 ETR Free Community Weekend with their net-rushing games and world-class volleying skills.

Stay tuned for wild card announcements for both the Rogers Cup main draw and qualifying, which is sure to include Canadian talent and few other surprises as well…
