French auto company becomes official car of men’s tournament
Tennis Canada announced Monday that Peugeot is joining Rogers Cup presented by National Bank as an official sponsor of the men’s tournament, becoming its official vehicle partner. The deal commences this year, with Peugeot moving between cities with the ATP World Tour.
“We are very excited to partner with such a high-quality and renowned company,” said Rob Swann, Chief Commercial Officer, Tennis Canada. “Peugeot’s desire to join Rogers Cup illustrates the growing international reach of our tournament, as millions of people worldwide interact with Rogers Cup through the global broadcast. Like Peugeot, we believe in high performance and are always pushing to make our product better, which will surely help make this a winning partnership.”
Peugeot is adding Rogers Cup to its longstanding slate of tennis sponsorship, which also already includes being the official car of the ATP World Tour and having a presence at more than 30 events. A platinum sponsor, Peugeot will be featured prominently in stadium signage this year in Montreal.
“PEUGEOT has been sharing for over 30 years the values of exigency, elegance and emotion with the world of tennis,” said Jean-Philippe Imparato, PEUGEOT Brand CEO. “We wanted to reinforce our commitment with the ATP World Tour in 2017 and thus strengthen our international visibility. We are proud to add Rogers Cup to our program which means we are now a partner of more than 30 ATP tournaments.”
Rogers Cup presented by National Bank will feature the best men of the ATP World Tour from August 4-13, 2017 at Uniprix Stadium in Montreal, and the top women of the WTA from August 5-13, 2017 at Aviva Centre in Toronto.
