Rogers Cup presented by National Bank will be hosting several top female executives this year as Aviva Women in Business Night will bring together leading professionals from organizations across the Toronto area for an evening of networking and tennis.
Taking place August 9 at Aviva Centre, Women in Business Night is part of this year’s festivities to mark the 125th anniversary of the women’s tournament, celebrating the accomplishments of females in sport and business.
Guest speakers will include former world No. 1 and current tennis broadcaster Tracy Austin, Chief People Officer at Aviva, Sarah Morris, and Tennis Canada’s Chief Marketing Officer Muriel Solomon, along with special guests and Canadian Olympians Rosie MacLennan and Georgia Simmerling. Among the topics of discussion will be gender diversity in sport and business, as well as the 30% Club, a campaign to achieve greater gender diversity across boards.
Tickets to Women in Business Night will include complimentary hors d’oeuvres and refreshments, reserved parking, and Gold Level tickets to watch the Wednesday night evening session of tennis. Organizations also have the opportunity to host their female executives in a Private Suite after the networking event at a preferred rate.
