Toronto’s second semifinal pits World No.1 Novak Djokovic vs. Gael Monfils, who, after an impressive upset victory over hometown favourite Milos Raonic, will be looking to continue his world-beating form.

Much like Tomas Berdych, Monfils comes into his twelfth career meeting with Djokovic with a notably poor head-to-head record, having never registered a win over the Serbian. His form of late, however, suggests he might be able to push the world’s best player better than ever – he’s on a 9 match winning streak.
