Milos Raonic is a quarter-finalist at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells thanks to a 6-4, 7-6(7) triumph over No. 6-seeded Czech Tomas Berdych on Wednesday.

Raonic was not broken once throughout the one hour and 49 minute match, which actually only saw one service break the whole time – Raonic winning it in the first set.

Up next for the No. 12 seed will be popular Frenchman Gael Monfils, who the Canadian star beat on the hard courts of the Australian Open earlier this year, also in the quarter-final round. It was his first win over Monfils in three tries. Raonic has now made the Indian Wells quarter-finals for three years running, and he will aim to make a second consecutive semifinal in the Californian desert when he plays Monfils on Thursday at 7 p.m. PT / 10 p.m. ET.
