Hello to all volunteers and ball kids,
The Rogers Cup presented by National Bank is the third-oldest tournament behind only Wimbledon and the U.S. Open. This year as a Tennis Canada owned and operated world-class tournament, the women's event is celebrating its 120h anniversary. Thank you for your continued interest in the Rogers Cup presented by National Bank. The biggest summer sporting event in Montreal has always been able to count on a wonderful team. Last year, more than 1,000 volunteers made the tournament a great success.
The volunteer application period is now open. This summer, Montreal will host the best players on the WTA from Saturday August 4th until Monday August 13th. Many of the top players have confirmed their presence in Montreal in 2012. Women's tennis is also growing in Canada. Our Canadian players will provide a strong presence at this year's tournament and are sure to light up centre court.
The 2012 tournament will also feature a Legends event, which will welcome four of the biggest names in tennis history back to Montreal on August for a very special evening.
