Tweets of the week: Laver Cup in full swing for Canadians

Monday, Sep 23

One of the highest-profile non-Grand Slam events on the calendar for men’s tennis is Laver Cup. Given the amount of big names participating in the “Team World vs. “Team Europe” event, it’s all eyes on Geneva, where the third edition of Laver Cup is being held this year.

We’ve got the latest on the tournament – and much more – from social media.

In the third edition of the Laver Cup two Canadians made Team World in Denis Shapovalov and Milos Raonic.

Shapovalov is lucky enough to be living his dream at only 20-years-old!

Bianca Andreescu went to Montreal to train for the upcoming tournaments in Asia.

Why not watch a bit of footy between the Montreal Impact and TFC afterwards.?

Arguably two of the greatest tennis players ever having a bit of fun being Team Europe teammates at Laver Cup.

This picture of Serena Williams and daughter Olympia is so adorable. Please do more of this.

It looks like Team Europe is also ready to take this rivalry to the pitch!

Speaking of family, Ash Barty got a chance to spend time with her niece Lucy during a Tennis Australia project.

A camera always needs to be on Nick Kyrgios. Trust us.

WARNING: Don’t mess with Jack Sock in ping pong… Fellow American John Isner found out the hard way.

Lights, camera, action! Belinda Bencic displayed the work off the court that translates to on-court success.
